(ĐN)- Industrial parks (IPs) in Dong Nai attracted nearly US$2.36 billion of foreign direct investment in the first eleven months of this year, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority.
Of this total, more than US$1 billion poured into IPs in Nhon Trach district, over US$446 million to Long Thanh’s IPs, US$360 million to Trang Bom district, and some US$297 million to Bien Hoa city.
According to the DIZA, the Republic of Korea’s (RoK) Hyosung Dong Nai Limited Company posted the largest investment capital with over US$600 million, followed by Amata Corp’s high-tech industrial park and Kenda Rubber Industrial Co, producer of tires and tubes for bicycles, motorcycles, industrial vehicles and light trucks.
Investors have primarily employed green and environmentally-friendly technologies in accordance with the province’s long-term plans.
