(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded a trade surplus of more than US$1.4 billion in 2015. Accordingly, the provincial export turnover jumped 10 percent from the same period last year to hit US$14.4 billion.
Of the total, the foreign-investment sector accounted for nearly US$9.14 billion percent, exporting mainly footwear, wooden products, garments, electronics and spare parts.
The results were attributed to stable import materials and export product prices. Many large enterprises in the locality have signed contracts for export through the end of 2016.
The province’s imports were estimated at over US$13 billion this year.
