Despite of the increase of quantity, the prices of pigs and chickens has also seen the signs of slight increases, helping local farmers expand their production. There will be abundant supply of pigs and chickens for Tet.
Accordingly, some large livestock firms will supply around 12,500 tons of chicken, 7,200 tons of pork and nearly 44 million eggs to the market for the upcoming Tet.
