(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Emulation and Reward Board has recently organized a seminar to share experiences on building new style rural areas with Dong Thap and Long An provinces.
At the seminar, representatives from Xuan Loc district, the first district in the country won the certificate of “new rural district”, shared experiences on the implementation of new rural construction in the locality, focus on increasing income for local farmers and upgrading rural traffic roads.
Over the past five years, Xuan Loc District has zoned off separate areas for the cultivation of pepper, coffee, mango, dragon fruit, corn and local specialty fruit trees using technological advances, generating a high average production value. Local residents also contributed more than VND100 billion, land and work days to build roads and social welfare projects. At present, all rural roads in the district have been asphalted and concreted.
