Dinh Quan to be new rural district by 2017

(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee on November 24 presided over a meeting with Dinh Quan district's authorities on overall development plans for the district through to 2020.

(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on November 24 presided over a meeting with Dinh Quan district’s authorities on overall development plans for the district through to 2020.

Presently, Dinh Quan district has 13 communes and 1 town with total area of more than 97,100 hectare. The yearly average income of local farmers is VND37.2 million. Meanwhile, thanks to embracing advanced technologies, the value of agricultural production per ha in the district reached VND116.4 million, doubling the 2010 figure.

Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Yen of Dinh Quan district People’s Committee said that the district would make efforts to be a new rural district in 2017 and strive to raise the annual average income per capita in the locality to VND53.4 million by 2020.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai suggested the district to take more measures to fulfill set socio-economic targets.
