(ĐN)- Dong Nai Branch of Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, the province-based banks provided loans of more than VND16.4 trillion to local rural and agricultural development projects as of end-Sept, an increase of 11.4 percent compared to the end of 2014.
Particularly, outstanding loans secured by assets represented about 86.5% of total rural and agricultural loans, while loans without collateral accounted for 13.5%.
So far, the branch has offered loans totaling over VND30 billion to 26 agricultural projects under Decision No. 68/2013/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister on the support policy for limiting damages in agriculture.
