Fujitsu Vietnam celebrates its 20th founding anniversary

The event saw the attendance of Mr. Satoshi Nakajima, Japanese Consul General in HCM City, Chairman of Dong Nai Province’s People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai along with representatives from enterprises in Dong Nai and other localities.

FCV was granted the investment license on September 22, 1995 with initial investment capital of nearly US$78 million from Japan’s Fujitsu Corporation. The company specializes in designing, producing and assembling printed electronic circuits for computers, mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai stressed that FCV has become the first pioneer project of high-tech industry in Dong Nai, adding that FCV is listed in top exporters of Dong Nai. The company’s success in business has contributed to promote the province's image in the eyes of Japanese investors, helping to lure more and more Japanese investors to the province.

Japan is currently the third biggest investor in Dong nai with nearly 200 projects capitalized more than US$3.5 billion. FCV contributes nearly US$1.2 million to the State budget every year, he added.

Also at the ceremony, FCV presented 50 computers to Dong Nai Vocational College.
