(ĐN)- Despite the current rainy season, farmers in Thong Nhat district’s Gia Tan 3 commune has applied technology to plant, take care of vegetable to improve its productivity.
Presently, vegetable prices in the commune have increased sharply with a kg of vegetables sold at VND20,000-22,000, helping local farmers to earn hundreds of million VND per hectare.
The commune currenty has 100 hectares of land under vegetables. Due to the application of technology into production, such as growing clean vegetables in net houses, using saving watering system, the farmers have gained productivity of their vegetables.
