(ĐN)- Leaders of Dong Nai Food Industrial Corp (Dofico) and Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development have recently worked with Xuan Loc district People’s Committee on mango plantation under the large-scale field model for export.
Recently, Dong Nai mangoes have received permission from the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to be exported to the market. Accordingly, Japan will import 50 tons of Cat Chu mango from Vietnam in 2016.
Currently, Dong Nai is expanding mango plantation areas under the VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. Specifically, Xuan Loc district-based Suoi Lon mango cooperative will develop 12 hectares of mango, focusing on productivity and quality in order to meet consumption and export demands.
