(ĐN)- The industrial production index of the building material sector saw a sharp increase in the first ten months of the year, according to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade.
Particularly, the production index of non-metallic mineral products such as brick, concrete, ceramics and mining in Jan-Oct have increased over 30% and 16%, respectively, compared to the same period of last year.
The increase was mainly due to a surge in construction projects. The consumption of building materials is predicted to rise in the coming time as the real estate market is showing signs of recovery.
