(ĐN)- According to Thong Nhat Cacao Cooperative, the plan for building the cooperative’s processing area has been approved by the province’s authorities.
Accordingly, the cooperative will be funded 50% of the total expense to invest in equipment and technologies for processing cacao seeds. The cooperative has selected location to deploy the project.
Under the plan, once put into operation, the cooperative will serve as a purchasing and processing site for farmers in Long khanh town, Thong Nhat, Trang Bom and Xuan Loc districts.
Thong Nhat Cacao Cooperative will sign contracts with businesses and undertake to consume products for farmers with reasonable prices.
The cooperative is currently the purchaser for cacao grown by 70 cooperative members with total cultivation area of 60 hectares.
