(ĐN)- Dong Nai's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Tin Nghia Corporation and Tan Phu district People’s Committee have collected suggestions of farmers in Phu Loc commune for their participation in the project of building large field model for coffee cultivation in Cam My, Xuan Loc and Tan Phu districts.
Under the plan, the large-scale plantation areas for 4C coffee consumption are planned to be built in Cam My, Xuan Loc and Tan Phu districts, covering around 620 hectares, and draws the participation of 578 households. Accordingly, Tan Phu will build a 200-hectare large coffee field in Phu Loc commune.
Tin Nghia Corporation will sign contracts to buy local farmers clean coffee beans that meet 4C (Common Code for Coffee Community) standard. The prices of those clean coffee beans are VND100-300 per kilogram higher than those without certificate for 4C clean coffee.
As a result, 100% farmer households participating the session to collect suggestions have agreed to take part in the project.
