(ĐN)- Dong Nai is one of the three leading localities nationwide in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction in the first nine months of the year, accounting for 12.5 percent in the amount of registered FDI in the country, said the Department of Industry and Trade.
The province’s FDI attraction ranked third after HCM city (US$2.42 billion) and Binh Duong province (US$1.11 billion).
Most of the FDI is poured into hi-tech and support industry projects, with the biggest invested by Hyosung, Kenda and Amata.
Dong Nai has so far lured 1,160 foreign-invested projects totally valued at more than US$23 billion.
