(ĐN)- Dong Nai province has developed 34,000 hectares of aquaculture area, and is expected to produce more than 45,000 tonnes of aquatic products in 2015, increasing 27% over the same period in 2010.
Aquaculture has seen the strong development over the past years, with various production methods. Aquaculture is one of the models which can help increase economic effectiveness for local farmers. The economic model is being encouraged for development in many localities in the province.
Over the last 5 years, the average growth of aquaculture value has reached nearly 4%, 1.3% higher than the set target.
