(ĐN)- Dong Nai has made improving road infrastructure the top priority in its list of measures to boost its socio-economic development.
Over the past five years, Dong Nai invested around VND10.9 trillion in infrastructure, especially in transport and water supply. Accordingly, the province improved transport links between urban areas, industrial zones and highways together with expanding rural roads.
Important traffic projects included the section of National Highway 1A bypassing Bien Hoa City, National Highway No 20 and 51 expansion projects, HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway, new Dong Nai bridge, Ben Luc-Long Thanh highway, flyovers at Vung Tau and Amata intersections, tunnel at Tam Hiep intersection
In addition, the province has made efforts to complete the projects such as 767,768, 769 roads, Road 319 in Nhon Trach district connecting the HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway, Hiep Hoa and Hoa An bridges in Bien Hoa city.
