Particularly, the program using new improved varieties in production has been implemented to provide local farmers varieties with high quality and productivity. Localities in Dong Nai have also established concentrated production areas on key crop plants, covering total area of more than 43,000 hectares.
Moreover, there have been high technology models that are applied into production, such as water saving irrigation combined with putting down fertilizer through pipes, bio-technology application in production, building good agricultural practice (GAP) areas, etc.
