Of the ICs, 13 have completed the construction of infrastructure and began to lease land to businesses while 13 other ICs are still calling the investors.
The ICs has attracted 180 investment projects to register for leasing land to build production plants. However, only 71 projects have been put into operation, creating jobs for more than 17,000 laborers from Dong Nai and other localities.
As far as known, the ICs, which have the most of operating projects, are Vinh Thanh-Phu Thanh in Nhon Trach district, Thien Tan-Thanh Phu in Vinh Cuu district, Ho Nai 3 building materials IC in Trang Bom district, and Doc 47 IC in Bien Hoa city.
