The biggest FDI investors were Taiwan, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore and British Virgin Island with a total registered capital of more than US$16 billion. Almost projects focus on footwear, textile and garment, support industries and electronics.
Taiwan ranked first among foreign investors in Dong Nai during the period, followed by The Republic of Korea.
In recent three years, the majority of FDI projects in the province are concentrated in the support and hi-tech industries.
