(ĐN)- Singapore led ASEAN investors in Dong Nai with 49 projects totaling approximately US$2 billion, according to Department of Planning and Investment. Of the total, 42 projects are located in industrial zones with a combined registered capital of more than US$817 million. Meanwhile, 7 projects worth almost US$1.17 billion are located outside the industrial zones.
Singapore is also ranked fourth among foreign investors in Dong Nai, after the Taiwan, Republic of Korea, and Japan.
Singapore’s major investments include the urban area Water Front project in Bien Hoa city with a total registered capital of US$750 million, a project worth US$400 million investing in real estate in Nhon Trach district, YKK Vietnam in Nhon Trach 3 industrial park worth US$180 million, and US$100-million agricultural products factory in Bien Hoa 2 IP.
