(ĐN)- Trang Bom district has so far had 5 out of 16 communes recognized as new-style rural areas including Thanh Binh, Trung Hoa, Hung Thinh, Tay Hoa and Quang Tien communes. Other communes have met 15 to 18 out of 19 criteria for productive rural communities.
The information was released at the recent meeting held by the district People’s Committee on building new rural communes.
The district strives to have additional 7 to 8 communes to be recognized as new-style rural areas by the end this year, contributing to help Trang Bom to be recognized as new-style rural district.
