(ĐN)- Dong Nai Garment Company (Donagamex) on July 31 broke ground for the Hung Loc industrial cluster in Thong Nhat district’s Hung Loc commune. The event was attended by former Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee (PC) Vo Van Mot, Vice Chairman of PC Vo Van Chanh and leaders from local departments and agencies.

The cluster worth more than VND300 billion is being built on an area of around 42 hectares, in which 25 hectares are for industrial land. It is expected to lure textile and garment investors as well as related service industries, helping create jobs for thousands of local people.

At the ground breaking ceremony, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh asked the Donagamex to continue efforts to keep the project on schedule and ensure its quality along with workplace safety and environment protection.
