(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai province’s master plan for economic development until 2020, Dong Nai will set up 3 key economic zones.
Accordingly, the province’s Southwestern economic zone will include Bien Hoa city, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts, which will concentrate in developing industry, urban and services. Dong Nai’s Southeastern economic zone will comprise Long Khanh town, and four districts of Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc and Cam My, which will be served for developing agriculture and processing industry.
Meanwhile, the province’s Northern economic zone will have three district, namely Vinh Cuu, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu, with a focus on forest protection, protecting Dong Nai river water resource and Tri An Hydroelectric Plant.
Under the master plan, green tree coverage rate in Dong Nai will be 52%. However, the province’s rate has currently reached 56%.
