(ĐN)- On July 22, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai People’s Committee had a working session with the provincial Steering Committee on the Prevention and Control of Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Fake Commodities (or Steering Committee 389).
In the first half of the year, the steering committee dealt with 2,295 cases of smuggling, fake goods and trade fraud. Illegally trafficked products included cigarettes, unsafe children’s toys, fabric, wines, electronics, clothes, fertilizer, etc.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman suggested the Steering Committee 389 to enhance its direction and responsibility in the prevention of smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeit goods across the province in the coming time.
