(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district People’s Committee is providing support for farmers to expand the model of growing clean vegetables in net houses in Xuan Hoa, Xuan Tam and Lang Minh communes.
Farmers participating in the net-house farming project will be provided 100% seedlings and 30% material expenses.
The model has been applied by Truong An Cooperative on 5 hectares of land under vegetables and it proved very effective and has helped to increase the productivity and quality of organic vegetables and reduce the cost for farmers.
The vegetables grown in net houses are favorite in the market due to their cleanness.
The new model has also been expanded by farmers across the province during the rainiy season because it can help reduce the damaged vegetable caused by bad weather influences.
