The lake currently supplies household water to around 220,000 people and irrigational water to 19,000 hectares of cultivated land.
Tri An lake covers 30,000 hectares in Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat and Dinh Quan districts. It has plentiful sources of aquatic products, helping nearly 1,000 families earn their living by fishing on the lake.
