Japanese enterprises keen on investing in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- A delegation of Japanese enterprises from the Nagoya region, led by Mr. Hiroyasu Naito, Vice Chairman of Nagoya Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NCCI) and President of Rinnai Corp, embarked on a fact-finding mission to Dong Nai in order to seek investment opportunities in the province.

During a meeting with the delegation on June 3, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc, said that Japanese investors have so far poured more than US$3.4 billion in Dong Nai, ranking third among 30 countries and territories having investment in the province. He also stressed that provincial authorities would enhance their support and work closely with Japanese businesses that are keen to invest in the locality. Dong Nai is giving priorities in attracting hi-tech agriculture production, tourism and real estate, etc.

For his part, Mr. Hiroyasu Naito said Nagoya region-based enterprises are interested in Dong Nai’s potential for the development of industry, agriculture and services, adding that the NCCI would support its members who would like to invest in Dong Nai. Established more than 100 years ago, the NCCI has some 16,600 member firms.
