(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned nearly US$7 billion from exports in the January-June period, while spending more than US$6.5 billion US on imports, resulting in a trade surplus of around US$464 million, tripled the 2014’s figures, according to the provincial Statistics Office.
Items grew in terms of export revenue including footwear, textiles and garments, wooden products, vehicles, electric wires and cables, machinery, computers, electronic components, pepper, cashew nuts.
The province’s export earnings went up sharply thanks to local enterprises’ success in new markets as well as signature of many free trade agreements along with the tax reduction, making local businesses increased their production to enjoy preferential tariffs.
