(ĐN)- An Hao bridge architectural design contest has just been held by Dong Nai Department of Construction and Corporation for the Development of Dong Nai Industrial Zone (Sonadezi).
Many construction and design consultancy companies took part in the contest. Accordingly, the joint-ventures between Tam Nhin Xanh Company and Seape VN, Transport Engineering Design J.S Incorporated South (Tedi South) and Quang Dung Company won second prizes. No first prizes were awarded in the contest.

Under the design, the bridge will link Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park in Bien Hoa city’s An Binh ward with Hiep Hoa isle. The 492m long bridge will be built under the Built-Operation-Transfer (BOT) form with an estimated cost of more than VND700 billion.
The organizers considered the winning proposals, together with a master plan for the surrounding area, technically superior. They also judged the winning products’ visualisation of the proposed bridge to be of the highest quality.
However, according to some architects inside and outside the province, the winning entries have not yet matched with the surrounding scenery. Especially, they have not met the requirement for becoming a typical feature of Dong Nai.
