(ĐN)- As of June 15, Dong Nai has lured more than US$1 billion worth of foreign direct investment (FDI), the provincial Department of Planning and Investment reported.
Accordingly,45 new foreign-invested projects, worth more than US$834 million, were licensed during the January-June period. Meanwhile, 36 operating projects were also given approval to add over US$184 million to their investments.
Most of the projects are located in the province’s industrial parks.
The province has so far licensed investment certificates to 1,496 FDI project with the total registered capital of more than US$27.1 billion.
Dong Nai has led the country in attraction of FDI since the beginning this year, said Tran Ngoc Liem, Vice Director of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in HCM city.
