(ĐN)- There are 2 stations selling gasoline with 5 percent ethanol, known as E5, in Bien Hoa city. Accordingly, one is located at Nguyen Ai Quoc street while the other is situated in Buu Hoa ward.
The new kind of petrol is a mixture of 5% bio-ethanol, distilled from cassava, and 95% A92 gasoline to produce E5, E10, E20 bio-fuels. It is said to help save fuel, prolong engine life and reduce exhaust fumes such as CO2, HC, which will slow down the climate change.
Under a plan approved by the government, from December only gasoline with 5 percent ethanol will be used in seven big cities and provinces. From December 2015 it will be the only fuel sold nationwide.
Dong Nai has so far had had 3 stations E5 bio-fuel, including two in Bien Hoa city and another in Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district.
