Representative of Japan’s delegation said that Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has granted permission for Dong Nai’s mango to be exported to Japanese market, adding that many large importers and exporters of Japan had highly praised the quality of Dong Nai’s mango and they wished to expand importing more kinds of fruits and other farm products from the province.
Other enterprises operating in processing, preserving fruits and farm products also hoped to boost cooperation, transferring technology with the province in order to promote links in exporting farm products. In addition, Japanese enterprises introduced high technology application models in producing organic vegetables, linking planting flowers with tourism development, manufacturing organic fertilizers from garbage and husbandry waste, etc.
Representatives from Germany, Israel, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia expressed their wishes to cooperate with Dong Nai in high technology agriculture development, building trademarks and popularize local farm products in global market, human resources training, intelligent school and traffic models, etc.
Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee highly appreciated information contents given by the delegations for its conformation to the province’s development. He suggested the provincial authorities to continue their work with HCM city-based Advanced International J.S Co. (AIC), which serves as a bridge to link foreign enterprises with Dong Nai, to fulfill plans for cooperation in developing agriculture, traffic and education, adding that the above-mentioned contents will be part of preliminary agreement of Dong Nai’s development scheme for the next five years.
