(ĐN)- Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Donaruco) on June 2 held a solemn ceremony to celebrate its 40th founding anniversary (June 6, 1975-2015).
The event was attended by Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh and Vice Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People's Committee and leaders from Vietnam Rubber Corporation.

After Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975), The Southeastern Region Party Committee established Southeastern Rubber Management Board to take over 12 rubber plantations covering 21,000 hectares and 4 latex processing factories which had belonged to France’s companies with 5,000 laborers.
On June 2, 1975, the State-owned Southeastern Rubber Company was put into operation. By the end of 1975, the company exploited more than 18,500 tons of rubber latex, processed and handed over to the State 10,500 tons of latex which could meet standards for export, exceeding 7.8% of the set target.
10 years later, the company developed 56,000 hectares of land under rubber cultivation. The company’s rubber turnover was half of the country’s total turnover.
Since 2004, under the requirement from the Government to equitize State-owned enterprises, Donaruco carried out equitation some of its subsidiaries, and invested in many fields such as industrial zone infrastructure business, real estate, development of urban and residential areas, etc.
By 2014, Donaruco harvested and processed more than 30,600 tonsof rubber latex, 7.5% higher than the target, earning an average productivity of 1,767 kg/ha, achieved a profit of VND580 billion, contributed VND224 billion to the State budget.
The corporation was listed in top 1,000 corporate income tax payers and Vietnam’s top 500 largest enterprises. Donaruco has been awarded many noble rewards by the State President, Prime Minister, and Dong Nai provincial People's Committee.
On this occasion, State Government presented emulation flag to the corporation. Donaruco also honored 234 typical workers’ families.
