(ĐN) –A delegation of businesses from New York in the US made an exploratory tour of Dong Nai to seek investment and export opportunities in the locality.
The delegation was led by Mr Edward Kowalewski, Director of International Investments at New York State's chief economic development agency.

During the working session on May 26, Director of Department of Planning and Investment Bo Ngoc Thu highlighted the Dong Nai’s investment potential, saying that the province is undertaking efforts to restructure its economy and improve its legal system and business climate to facilitate foreign investment.
Thu expressed her hope that the working session will present opportunities for the NY's investors to enter the province, contributing to bringing the two sides’ trade ties to new heights.
The NY’s enterprises said that they would study possible investments in processing industry, hi-tech agriculture production, and transportation.
Presently, the US is the province’s largest export market. So far, the US investors poured US$134 million into 23 projects in Dong Nai.
