Receiving the guests, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee stressed that Dong Nai is in Southern Economic Hub, right after the open-door time, Dong Nai had defined its strength of industrial development. Over the past years, the province has always accompanied and removed difficulties for local enterprises, helping them stabilize and develop production.
The province has so far attracted around US$27 billion in FDI, creating jobs for nearly 500,000 laborers. Dong Nai’s industrial development has made a big contribution to the country’s GDP, he added.
For his part, the Consul General affirmed that experiences in industrial development as well as attracting FDI projects of Dong Nai will contribute to help Cuba better form policies in attracting domestic and FDI projects.
He also called on Dong Nai’s enterprises to invest in industrial zones in Cuba, adding that Cuban Consulate General will serve as a bridge to give information to investors when necessary.
