Three-month state budget collection up 15 percent

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province's budget collection in Jan-March reached approximately VND9,056 billion, 24 percent of the yearly estimate, and 15 percent above the same period of previous year's collection, as released at a conference in the province on March 23.

 

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s budget collection in Jan-March reached approximately VND9,056 billion, 24 percent of the yearly estimate, and 15 percent above the same period of previous year’s collection, as released at a conference in the province on March 23.

Of the total, collection from domestic enterprises was around VND1,248 billion while the revenue from FDI businesses hit over VND2,542 billion.

In this period, budget expenditure was more than VND3,188 billion, accounting for 22 percent of the yearly forecast, 30 percent higher than that of last year.

Speaking at the event, which was held to review the state of the province’s financial sector in the first quarter of the year, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People’s Committee urged the Department of Finance to team up with the related agencies to swiftly and effectively implement the 2015 state budget collection. He also stressed the necessity of providing increasing support to local businesses to help overcome difficulties and contribute to the State budget.

Over the past time, management and supervision were intensified for import-export tax collection, while administrative reforms in tax and customs fields were also enhanced, noted Vice Chairman.
