(ĐN)- The Corporation for the Development of Dong Nai Industrial Zone (Sonadezi) on January 13 held a press conference to inform its production and trade activities in 2014 and plans for 2015.
In 2014, Sonadezi attracted 27 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, accounting of 32% of the province’s FDI attraction, with total registered capital of US$145 million, and five domestic projects capitalized VND164 billion. As of late last year, Sonadezi ‘s industrial parks have lured 454 FDI projects, representing 45.58% of the province’s total FDI projects, and 190 domestic projects.
Last year, the corporation reported a turnover of more than VND3,464 billion, fufilling 127 percent of the yearly plan, creating stable jobs for over 6,000 laborers. Its employees each earned an average monthly income of VND6.8 million.
In 2015, Sonadezi will strive to reach a turnover of more than VND2,880 billion, the return on equity by 8.48 percent and the monthly personal income of 6.24 million. It is expected to earn pre-tax profit VND338 billion and contribute VND222 billion to state budget.
