(ĐN)- The number of shoppers at major supermarkets in Dong Nai rose between 20 and 30 percent during the New Year holiday on Jan. 1-2.
Particularly, Co.op Mart Bien Hoa and Metro received 6,000 and 1,400 visitors per day, respectively.
The most consumed products include clothes, children footwear, confectionaries and essential food items.
In order to attract shoppers on holiday, local supermarkets launched promotional programs with discounts from 15 to 45 percent on thousands of items.
