Enterprises who joining Tet price stabilisation programmes in Dong Nai province set up specific plans for commodity reserves during the Lunar New year (Tet holiday 2015) to avoid goods shortage.
Accordingly, the Dong Nai provincial Department of Industry and Trade, in association with the provincial Department of Finance, appraised loans of 31 enterprises to stockpile commodities for Tet with a total budget of more than VND35 billion. Essential goods such as pork, chicken meat, eggs, sugar, cooking oil and rice will be sold at lower cost of 5%-10% than the market’s price.
Some of these enterprises will be assisted with transport fees to carry out 92 mobile Tet commodity shipments to serve people in rural areas in Dong Nai. In addition, few enterprises in the province were active in stockpiling goods for Tet with a total capital of more than VND500 billion.
