The figure was released at the conference taking place on Friday to review the activities in 2014 and work out for tasks in 2015.
In 2015, the department will continue to boost reforming and modernizing customs, strive to reach VND14.7 trillion in budget collection; enhance tax collection inspections to prevent smuggling and trade fraud; build customs force more and more professional and strong in order to meet the demand of the international integration as well as help local exporters and importers complete customs procedures faster with less paperwork and continue operating effectively the Vietnam Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System/Vietnam Customs Information System (VNACCS/VCIS).
