(ĐN)- Dong Nai Garment Corporation (Donagamex) said that it has invested in a factory to produce chemical protective clothing products, which are used for protection against toxic substances in atomic power companies and for astronauts, to export to England market.
Chemical protective clothing is one of the high added value products. Donagamex is the only enterprise in the country to produce this kind of products.
Donagamex earned total revenue of more than US$60 million in 2014, increased 20% against the same period in 2013. The corp has reportedly received enough orders for production through the end of the third quarter this year.
Beside the traditional markets such as the U.S, Europe, Donagamex has developed a new Soth Korean market which accounted of over 20% of the corporation’s export turnover.
Founded in 1975, Donagamex, an affiliate of the Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) has achieved an annual average growth rate of over 25% over the past years. It is one of five most outstanding enterprises of Vinatex.
