(ĐN)- After over three years implementing a national programme on new rural development, 42 communes in Dong Nai have satisfied all the 19 of the programme’s criteria and 33 others have met 14 to 18 out of 19 criteria for new style rural areas.
Dong Nai has so far mobilized more than VND1.6 trillion to the new rural area building programme. Of the total, over VND1.5 trill came from state budget, the remaining was contributed by local people and enterprises. Xuan Loc district and Long Khanh town are striving to become first new rural localities nationwide.
