(ĐN)- Dong Nai is estimated to export approximately 438 thousand tonnes of coffee this year, according to the Department of Statistics.
This number is triple the figure in 2013, however, it had brought home a turnover of over US$560 million, up 0.9 fold. In December alone, the province shipped abroad more than 12,000 tones of coffee, a month-on-month increase of 2,000 tones.
The average price for the Dong Nai’s coffee for the period was over US$1,200 per tonne. Tin Nghia Corp and Long Khanh town-based Minh Huy Company are the leading coffee exporters in the province.
