(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) in October decreased by 0.1 percent over the previous month, driving the ten-month figure up 4.27 percent.
The October figure also represented a rise of 3.36 percent compared to the same period last year, reported the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
The upward trend was seen in 10 out of 11 commodity groups. In the month, the group of restaurants and catering services posted the highest hike with 6.46 percent, followed by garments and textiles and footwear, 5.91%, the group of housing, water and electricity and gas and construction materials, 5.27%, food, 5.24%, household appliances, 4.58%.
The group of post and telecommunication services, however, saw a decline of 0.17%.
