According to the Chairman, France is one of the first foreign investors landing on Dong Nai. So far, some 16 French projects have been licensed in the province with a total investment of more than US$100 million. Over the past time, France’s regions and Dong Nai enhanced their cooperation in education and forest development and protection projects.
Recently, the province has organized a ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam – France bilateral diplomatic ties.
For his part, Consul General Emmanuel Ly-Batallan said he hopes that Dong Nai will continue to create favourable conditions for French companies to do business in the locality. He is willing to act as a bridge for French firms’ investments in the province.
