(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) for September decreased by 0.02 percent compared to the previous month, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
During the first nine months of the year, CPI increased by 2.35 percent against December and 3.91 percent against last year’s same period.
Five commodity groups recording price hikes include footwear with an increase of 5.9%, beverage and tobacco up 5.68, housing, water and electricity and gas and construction materials up 5.56%, food and catering services up 5.28% and home appliances 4.74%.
In this period, post and telecom saw a decline of 0.96%
The nation’s CPI rose by only 2.25% in Jan-Sept period, the lowest rise for the past decade.
