In the new tenure, the association will focus on increasing the quality of its activities to support the local wood processing businesses. It will also raise the total members to 100, and help the members to join trade fairs, exhibitions, and customers’ conferences.
The association will invest to build a 75-hectare industrial cluster which specializes in wood-related processing in Vinh Cuu district in order to provide production premises for its members.
On this occasion, the members were unanimous in changing the name of the association to Dong Nai Wooden Products and Handicrafts Association.
At the congress, Mr Phan Van Binh, CEO of Nhat Nam JS Company, was elected as President of the association.
