(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee Tran Minh Phuc on October 28 had a working session with the Enterprises Renewal and Development Steering Board.
At the session, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc asked the related departments and sectors to continue their support to timely remove difficulties relating to mechanisms, policies, and markets for local businesses to stabilize and develop production.
Presently, Dong Nai has 4 corporations with 60 subsidiary companies including Tin Nghia Corp, Dong Nai Food Industrial Corp, Corporation for Development of Industrial Zones and Import Export Processing Agricultural Products and Food Company.
In addition, there are 4 independent companies which are under the control of the province.
The total turnover of 64 state-owned businesses were estimated at nearly VND20 trillion over the past nine months, representing nearly 97% of the year’s target, increased over 6% over the same period in 2013. These companies reported a total profit of more than VND1.1 trillion.
