Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai stressed that Dong Nai is now home to 31 industrial parks, attracting over US$20 billion of investment from more than 1,000 foreign enterprises from 36 countries and territories. Presently, there is only one Israeli-invested businesses in Dong Nai namely Avco Limited Company.
Over the past time, Dong Nai has imported as well as studied some technologies from Israel in agricultural production. Thus, the province hopes to boost cooperation with Israel in various fields including industry, agriculture, sci-tech and education, he added.
Ms Meirav Eilon Shahar said that her working visit to the province aims to inform the cooperation programs between Israeli Government and Vietnam and to seek investment opportunities in Dong Nai in order to boost the two-sided cooperation in many fields.
