Accordingly, Vice Chairman urged related departments and agencies to hasten site clearance and compensation to make room for the project.
As per the planning, the project requires more than VND494 billion for the clearance of land, which will affect over 1,100 local households, VND44 billion of the total has been spent by the investor.
Department of Natural Resources and Environment has been asked to work with Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts’ authorities to soon finish site clearance, make compensations, and provide supports and arrange resettlement in line with what they had committed to ensure the project’s construction on schedule.
