(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s coffee export reaches nearly 173,000 tons in the past eight months, bringing revenue of US$380 million, up 42% over the same period of 2013, according to the province’s Statistics Office.
In August alone, the province shipped over 19,500 tons of coffee beans, 200 tons higher than the previous month.
The coffee export price is approximately US$2,200 per ton. In this period, coffee beans were mainly exported to the US, Germany and Switzerland. Coffee is the province’s largest export product.
